Privately uses a range of AI-powered proprietary deep-learning technologies developed in-house to deliver accurate, privacy-preserving digital age estimation.
The models are optimized to run on user devices and browsers for a privacy-centric experience, and are trained to estimate age accurately across different ethnicities and accents. Where needed, Privately also supports multimodal configurations (including face and voice signals).
Importantly, age estimation remains an estimation based on appearance. The system is not designed to identify who you are and is not identity verification on its own.
No. Privately does not use large AI models or generative AI systems such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for age checks.

No. Privately uses on-device processing for age estimation workflows, meaning image capture is created, processed, and deleted directly on your device.
